Meet Our Team

The team at the Center for Victim and Human Rights comes from all walks of life with a diversity of knowledge, skills, and abilities, sharing a common vision and passion to stand up for those who may otherwise not have a voice in the justice system.

Staff

Kathryn L. Miller

Staff Attorney

Kathryn is a graduate from the University of Central Florida, having graduated summa cum laude with a B.S.B.A. in Accounting and a minor in Legal Studies in 2007. She then attended the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and graduated in 2012. While attending law school, she interned for Indiana Legal Services in the Senior Law Project and with the Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence in the Pro Bono Protective Order Project. After becoming licensed to the Indiana Bar in 2012, Kathryn practiced family law, elder law and estate planning. Most recently, she was the Staff Attorney and Pro Bono Referral Director of Legal Aid District Eleven, Inc., which serves Indiana Pro Bono District I.

Leontiy V. Korolev

Staff Attorney

Leontiy graduated from Temple University (Philadelphia) in 2008 with a B.A. in Political Science and B.A. in Philosophy. He then studied Environmental and International Human Rights Law at the Indiana University McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis. Leontiy has had a variety of professional experiences since graduation, including work in the private practice, state government and the corporate sector. However, while waiting for the right opportunity, he continued to stay involved in human rights work by donating time to the CVHR, Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic, and the Military Commission Observation Project which gave him the opportunity to travel to Guantanamo Bay to observe the 9/11 Military Commission Trials.

Hayley Kemp

Community Outreach Coordinator

Hayley studied at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and graduated in May of 2018. Prior to attending law school, Hayley graduated from Franklin College with her Bachelor of Arts Degree in 2015 where she majored in Political Science. Hayley has worked with the CVHR since the Fall of 2016 and enjoys the ability to work in the human rights field helping others.

About Us

The Center for Victim and Human Rights (CVHR) is a 501(c)(3) organization that was established in 2008 with the specific purpose of providing comprehensive legal representation to victims of crime and human rights abuses, who often lack the safety and resources necessary to access available legal remedies.
